How We Research SEO Tools: Sources and Editorial Method

How a price on this site is produced

  1. Vendor pricing pageWe read the vendor's own page, not resellers or snippets.
  2. Tool recordPlan prices, billing terms, limits, source URL.
  3. Check dateStored per tool and shown next to the price.
  4. Every pageTables and charts read the same record.
One record per tool feeds every price you see, so a correction made once appears everywhere.

What we do and what we do not claim

We do

  • Read vendor pricing and plan pages
  • Show the date each price was read
  • Label editorial opinions as opinions
  • Mark missing data as missing

We do not claim

  • Lab or hands-on testing results
  • User ratings or review scores
  • Live prices or guaranteed discounts
  • Endorsement by any vendor
The limits of our method, stated plainly so you can weigh our guidance accordingly.

seo.bargains is a software buying guide for freelancers and small agencies. Our aim is to help you match a tool to the work you need done and understand the bill before you commit.

Where the prices come from

Plan prices are stored in one source-linked record per tool. We prefer the vendor's own pricing page and show the date prices were read. A partial check means some billing options, terms or limits could not be established. An unavailable price is left out of numerical charts.

Billing and currency

Monthly subscriptions, annual commitments and one-time purchases are different products. We label their billing basis, keep currencies separate and do not use exchange-rate conversions to create apparent savings. Calculated annual totals are identified in the source notes. Taxes, additional users and add-ons can change the final bill.

How comparisons work

Our recommendations are editorial judgements about fit, based on the features and plan information described in the guides. They are not measured performance scores, customer ratings or evidence of first-hand product testing. Use a vendor demo or eligible trial with your own project to assess data quality and usability.

Limitations and corrections

A price-check date records a specific research check, not a promise of continuous monitoring. Vendors can change offers or display different currencies by location. The linked vendor page and checkout are the final place to confirm your terms. Where a source is unavailable or incomplete, the guide says so.

Commercial links

Where a vendor link is an affiliate link, a purchase may earn a commission. That relationship does not establish product quality or a special discount. We do not claim exclusive coupons or guaranteed savings without supporting terms.
